Connect a pal

1. Choose Connect a PIPU Pal on Home.
2. One person shows a permanent QR or 12-character PIPU code; the other scans or enters it to send a pal request.
3. The code owner accepts the request to connect both devices.

PI / PU flow

A holds to PI. B receives a Live Activity with two PU choices. After one choice, B's activity ends immediately and A receives that terminal PU as a new Live Activity. It can be closed but not replied to again. Classic PIPUs end after about one minute; exclusive theme PIPUs after about five minutes.

Missing or delayed delivery

• Check iOS Notifications, Live Activities, Focus, and Low Power Mode.
• Confirm both devices are online. If a VPN fails, try another route or network.
• Open PIPU once on each device to refresh push tokens.
• Confirm the other person has not disconnected.

Reinstall, disconnect, and stuck activities

iOS may preserve Keychain data after deletion. On detecting a reinstall, PIPU attempts to delete the old server identity and links, then starts fresh; old pals must reconnect. If either person disconnects, the old link stops working for both. For a stuck activity, tap × or use Clear All Dynamic Island Activities in Settings.
